Impressed Current Cathodic Protection
Delivering an optimal electrode solution for impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) for a wide range of applications
Magneto prides itself on working in partnership with its customers worldwide to deliver customised customized industry-leading anodes for impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) systems. This technology is vital for permanent protection against corrosion and attack of the wetted surfaces in a range of industries and applications, including offshore structures, windfarms, marine vessels, and pipelines.
To realise a continuous current electrical conductivity for ICCP to be effective, titanium anodes are applied with a thin layer of platinum or KERAMOX® mixed metal oxide (MMO) coating. These coatings serve a wide range of output current densities, while coated niobium anodes are well applicable at high voltages. Our KERAMOX MMO anodes for ICCP applications were certified by DNV-GL in accordance with NACE TM0108-2012 standards.
Our highly reliable custom anodes offer low maintenance requirements, remote operation and long lifespan, making them both an operationally efficient and sustainable choice.
Magneto’s technology has an unrivalled heritage, having been proven in a number of ICCP applications globally, including mobile and fixed offshore energy plants and ship hull protection. Our customers can be confident they are making the right choice.
